Since 2012, Field has been photographing the lives of immigrants in New Hampshire. Now in addition to her photography, she met with forty families to interview and transcribe their memories. In their own words, the immigrants describe life in the home country, the pressures to leave, and the opportunities and challenges of resettling in a new land. The book includes people from thirty-one countries of origin and seventeen New Hampshire communities.
