The Chalk Giraffe

Stretched out on the dark asphalt with colorful chalks all around, a wee artist is content drawing a long-necked giraffe. When the disgruntled giraffe begins to complain and make demands, the artist has second thoughts about her creation. Rhyming back-and-forth banter commences. It’s an adventure in magical realism in which the two learn about happiness, empathy, and perspective, and it’s sure to inspire the immediate decoration of sidewalks and driveways everywhere.
