Symphony City

“Music is everywhere” in Symphony City. “It drifts through the trees and soars over the city. It leaps and spins across the rooftops. Even the moon wants to listen.” These are the poetic observations by a little girl who is separated from her family in the subway on the way to a free concert. The city is her playground and its people her companions as she makes her way home, enthralled with its many musical sounds. The first children’s look from McSweeney’s McMullins, this stunnng debut includes a cover that converts to a poster,. Ages four to eight.
