After the Rain

As the children revel in the excitement of a post rainy day romp in the puddles, Levi’s toy boat is halted when Polly’s bright pink galoshes stomp all over his shrinking river. Bash, splash, and fling mud along with Levi and Polly as they quickly learn to work together to preserve their soggy playground before the gutters drain all the water away. Fun language, word play, and bright colors make this a delightful read aloud, whatever the weather.
