I Caught a Rainbow

“A domesticated rainbow is very rare,” but that doesn’t stop a determined child in a colorful cap from trying. They poke breathing holes in a jar and scoop the colors in, being sure to offer those refractions all that they may need, including food, water, and company. Still, the rainbow withers, and the child realizes that its release may be required. Washes of color and winking details mark this wistful, magical story about giving those we love the room that they need to grow.
