Thoroughness is the book’s best advantage as it covers every inch of its subject—even what to do should a war break out near a worksite in a developing nation!
Each of the book’s three sections is divided into categories and further into subcategories. This content is followed up by a well-summarized conclusion. The result of the author’s efforts is a manual that will no doubt become scripture for those in the building business. An added bonus is the variety of tips and information related to the basics of building and construction such as a chart related to gradation levels of sand for the mortaring process and even a breakdown of the elements of cement. These charts though consisting of simple and relatively basic information are an extremely helpful reference for many who may have forgotten the little things.
