Pops of color and creatures with quizzical expressions make this story about how all is connected a visual and meditative delight. A child is cautioned not to disturb a butterfly that’s feasting on a flower; they’re warned that if they do, the consequences could roll downhill for other creatures, too, from dung beetles all the way up to a startled bear. Circus cars could be driven off the road, and homes crushed, BUT!: the child elects not to bother the butterfly after all.
