King of the Dump

This heartfelt picture book is a primer on recycling with a lesson on passing along items we no longer need. Teddy accompanies his father on a trip to the dump to sort their recyclables, watch the bulldozers and trash compactors, and complete the less-fun task of donating the treasured ride-on dog toy he’s outgrown to the dump’s “As-Is” store. Though sad to part with his toy, Teddy learns that leaving behind old things can make room for new.
