How to Change the World in 12 Easy Steps

The message dominates in this motivational picture book about how little people can have a big impact. It all starts with simple gestures, like expressing care, that make it easier to move on to larger forms of change. The attentive, inclusive illustrations are full of sweet touches, like a furry circle around a dog’s eye and a flowered hijab. Driving home the notion that we’re all in this together, the encouragements are followed by a nod to the Holocaust survivor who inspired them.
