Ripple Grove

A father, daughter, and dog pile into the car, headed for a woodland walk through a place of wonders and mythical beings. Once they’re on the trail, the father mentions Moomjean, one of the forest fairies, to his daughter, sparking a retelling of the fabulous story of a clash between trolls and fairies. Here, there’s an underground meadow and crystals grow in the shadows where magic blooms. Watercolor illustrations and sharply drawn maps of fairy lands enliven this exciting tale within a tale.
