Duck for Turkey Day

Living in the most diverse nation in the world can be a mixed blessing in classrooms at holiday time. Tuyet, for example, is terribly concerned that her family of Vietnamese origin will be breaking all sorts of rules by serving duck. This is a perfect book for reading aloud and discussion in lower elementary classrooms. Bright, clear illustrations compliment the open-minded message.
