Taking inspiration from the iconic "Cat People" and "Attack of the Fifty Foot Woman" films, Grandbois's monster double-feature is a feminist exploration of gender, sexuality, and love. The first story is told by a chorus of six voices--the characters and actors from the Cat People films and the author himself. In the second story, the protagonist of the films, Irena Dubrovna, takes over authorship, penning "Dream Memories of the Fifty Foot Woman" and becoming a heteronym for the author.
