Ayn Cates Sullivan’s magical folktale Eala includes both English and Spanish text. Paige Ozma Ashmore’s beautiful soft pastel illustrations enhance the gentleness of the story. It begins with Hugo, a young boy, heading down to the river to see if the story his grandmother told him was true. She has said Eala, the Mother Swan, can fly between day and night.
