TRAVERSE CITY, Mich., December 15, 2016—Foreword Reviews, a media company devoted to discovering, reviewing, and covering books from small, independent, and university presses is closing out 2016 by naming Seth Dellon associate publisher and Ilyssa Wesche sales manager.
Dellon joined Foreword Magazine, Inc. in February as director of Audience Development. He has over 10 years of publishing industry experience, previously with Publishers Weekly, American Collective Stand/Combined Book Exhibit, and is the cofounder of the online rights network PubMatch. As associate publisher, Dellon will lead Foreword’s editorial, sales, and marketing departments in internal and external facing initiatives, reporting directly to Foreword Publisher Victoria Sutherland.
Wesche, a librarian, former bookseller, and ad sales representative at Baker & Taylor, has 17 years experience in publishing and joined Foreword in May. In the role of sales manager, she will be the central manager for Foreword’s remote sales team, in addition to continuing to be an ad sales representative.
“Seth and Ilyssa immediately brought an incredible level of engagement to the team when they joined us earlier this year,” said Victoria Sutherland, publisher of Foreword Reviews. “Their passion for our cause and clear vision for our successful future provides me with an opportunity to move into more long-term strategic planning while they build our brand with broader audiences and deeper coverage of indies.”
