In a small town named Crowded Lake, where everybody treats each other like family, there is a beast lurking around. This beast plays tricks on the residents, usually when they least expect it. Follow the journey of a little girl named Alice Adkins, along with her relatives, friends, and neighbors, as she grows up in a town, where the unknown is prominent and disaster is imminent.
