My Mom Has X-Ray Vision

Addressing that eternal question “Do moms know everything?” this selection’s curious main character, Matthew, believes his can see through walls and perform other heroic feats. How else would she always know he’s jumping on the bed or using her kitchen pots in the yard? As shown in bright, artfully composed drawings, Matthew’s mom does seem to be everywhere at once. Like him, the reader will also wonder if her ordinary hair and clothes are the clever disguises he takes them for—until the satisfying conclusion. Ages three to seven.
