Good Night, Reindeer

With humor and a holiday sense of wonder, Santa ushers Blitzen, Vixen, Prancer, and friends into bed in Good Night, Reindeer from Denise Brennan-Nelson. Simple verses mimicking the style and rhythm of Margaret Wise Brown’s Goodnight Moon are accompanied by dynamic paintings from illustrator Marco Bucci, full of twilight shadows and rich textures with festive strings of multi hued lights twinkling throughout, but with Christmas morning looming large, one red-nosed reindeer may be too excited to sleep.
