About Us
ForeWord Reviews is a print magazine and an online review service for readers, booksellers, and librarians. ForeWord Reviews in print appears six times a year, beginning with a January/February issue. We normally print 8,000 copies, with a few issues seeing 10,000+ when extra distribution is needed (BEA/ALA, and the book fairs in Frankfurt, London, Bologna, Beijing, etc).
ForeWord Reviews employs professional freelance reviewers from all over the United States and Canada. Most of them have “day” jobs at universities or public libraries. Many of them also review for our peer journals, Kirkus, Booklist, Publishers Weekly, and Library Journal.

ForeWord Reviews affects the choices of booksellers and librarians across the country who tell millions what to read. Our typical print publication reaches an audience of 20,000; our Website receives a monthly average of 150,000 unique visitors (8/09).
